The Role
We're seeking a creative and technically-savvy Content & Social Marketing Manager to drive our content strategy and social media presence. This role combines strategic content creation with organic and paid social growth, requiring someone who can produce high-quality technical content while building engaging campaigns that resonate with our engineering and FinOps audience. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can leverage modern tools and growth techniques to maximize impact with limited resources.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our SEO goals and drives organic growth and awareness
Create engaging technical blog posts, research content, and thought leadership focused on cloud optimization and FinOps
Create and distribute high quality, deeply technical content
Manage editorial calendar and content distribution across all channels
Manage paid campaigns or an agency with a focus on optimal ROI and performance metrics
Collaborate with product marketing to translate technical capabilities into compelling marketing messaging
Social Media Management & Growth
Design and execute social media campaigns that build brand awareness and engage our technical audience
Develop and manage our influencer marketing program
Implement growth techniques to maximize organic reach and engagement
Manage paid social campaigns with a focus on optimal ROI and performance metrics
Strategic Planning & Analytics
Create data-driven content strategies that support SEO objectives and drive organic traffic
Track, analyze and report on content and social media performance
Optimize content distribution and social engagement strategies based on performance data
Identify opportunities for viral growth and community engagement
Report on KPIs and provide strategic recommendations for improvement
Required Experience
4+ years of experience in content marketing and social management, preferably in the cloud computing space
Proven track record of growing social media presence and engagement organically
Experience with technical content creation and SEO optimization
Strong understanding of social media platforms and growth tactics
Experience with content management systems and social media management tools
An understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps practices
Excellent writing and editing skills
Experience translating technical capabilities into compelling marketing copy
Experience with marketing automation platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience marketing in the FinOps space
Background in performance marketing and paid social campaigns
Experience with video content creation and production
Understanding of B2B social media growth strategies
Experience with WebFlow, Hubspot, and Salesforce
